TK 11 : Maichau PuLuong Trekking and Ho citadel Trekking

This trip to the northwest highlands of Mai Chau offers a balance of culture and adventure, set amongst some of northern Vietnam 's most stunning scenery. Pu Luong Nature Reserve offers opportunities for easy to moderate trekking, ranging from one to several days visits. Enjoy your journey to pleasant Thai villages or camp on the Pu luong mountain for stunning panorama
Day 1:Hanoi - Maichau [L,D]
8:00 AM :Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi. Drive to Hoa binh( about 2 hours). Short stop for break and coffee. Leave Man Duc to Muong village where you can do a short walk for 2 hours. Then drive on to Mai chau with few stops on the way for taking pictures. Lunch in MaiChau Poomcoong village.
Go around the valley before having dinner at a stilt house of Thai minority village. Night in the village. Clean and comfortable matress, blanket and pillow are provided.
Day 2 MaiChau – PuLuong Nature Reserve [B,L,D] 4 hours trekking
Whole day trek. 8:00 AM: Transfer by bus to Tom village, some 50 km further from Mai Chau.Then starting to hike to Hieu village. Lunch at Hieu village. After lunch, you will get in deeper inside the Pu luong Nature Reserve with wild and rich tropical forest. Take a break and stretch your legs on the house on stilt of Thai and Tay people or strolling round this village and to be in contact with hospitable friendly local people here. Return and overnight at Hieu village.
Day 3 Pu luong - Citadel of Ho dynasty - Hanoi [ B,L]
After breakfast . Taking motor back to Tom village and continue to visit Citadel of Ho dynasty in ThanhHoa . Lunch at CamThuy. Ho Citadel is built out of stone only without mortar or glue in between slabs of stone. The citadel has rectangular shape of 900m long and 700m wide with four gates opening to the north, south, east and west. The original citadel was composed of La Thanh outside, then bamboo hedge, water moat and citadel wall. Stones used to built the citadel were exploited from Thanh Hoa Province and the transport of stone to the site, the raising of stones to the right position...were simply miraculous. Ho Citadel was inscribed to the list of World Heritage by the UNESCO on 27-June-2011.
Tour ends at your hotel around 18:00.
